We got a little snow on the weekend; just enough to remind us that snowmobile season is now about 6 or 7 weeks away. I don’t think this bit of snow will last, but soon enough we will have a solid frost in the ground and the big snows will come. It’s a good time to remember to buy your
OFSC snowmobile permit. The price is still the same this year. Only $180 Cdn for the season, IF you buy before Dec. 1. After that the price goes up to $230. Still something of a bargain when you consider you can ride anywhere in Ontario for the whole winter. And in this neck of the woods, that’s a lot of great sledding! By the way, this is a nice picture of Pearl Lake and the headframe of the world famous McIntyre Gold Mine in he heart of James Bay Frontier.
