Yes, it's a cliche ... but Canadians do love dogsledding. I had the chance to experience it recently. First of all, the dogs are smaller than you think... and they seem to love running. I have never seen dogs get so excited before. They're incredibly strong and fast too. You can slouch down on the sled and even though you're not really going fast by highway standards, you get the feeling that you're on an ice rocket! If you're more adventurous... you can run alongside the sled! But hey, why would you wanna do that?

Dogsledding Rocks!
Yes, it's a cliche ... but Canadians do love dogsledding. I had the chance to experience it recently. First of all, the dogs are smaller than you think... and they seem to love running. I have never seen dogs get so excited before. They're incredibly strong and fast too. You can slouch down on the sled and even though you're not really going fast by highway standards, you get the feeling that you're on an ice rocket! If you're more adventurous... you can run alongside the sled! But hey, why would you wanna do that?
