This is a great time of year. The days are indeed getting warmer. The air just seems to smell a bit fresher. Everything is turning from white, to a muddy brown, to a fresh green. I was on the road this week and was able to drop in at Kap Kig Iwan provincial park, near Englehart. The gate was locked. But I enjoyed a nice 3K hike through the park and was able to check out the spectacular High Falls. The water was running fast and high. I was about 100 metres away for this picture, and I could still feel the cold mist on my face. (pic info 135 mm / F8 at 1/125th nikon D50 sRGB format) When I got back to the truck, I was happy to see that two other groups had set out hiking as well.

Spring is springing...
